Of all the CSIpgh values, my favorite is “Do Whatever it Takes.” My main job as IT Director is to make the impossible possible and improbable probable. If someone has a problem or needs help working more efficiently, I’ll make that happen. Sometimes that involves me staying until midnight on a Friday, but I don’t mind.

One particular memory that stands out actually occurred when I was first hired. In an effort to accommodate more office space, I had to consolidate two data racks into a smaller one. The entire merge took eight hours but I it got done and I was really pleased with how it all turned out. I had to stay late but I made someone’s life a lot easier which is what matters.
